Sakura, cherry blossoms, have already peaked in Kyoto and Nara, Japan. When there's hardly any breeze, petals of the blossoms softly flutter, flutter, flutter ... to the ground or to the pond. A soft breeze stirs pale-pink snow of petals from the branches. Sakura cast shimmering reflections.

Awesome pictures ! You did actually did pick the best moment to take them, cause the light has something pinkish about it, and it looks marvelous with the blossom of the trees...
ReplyDeleteExquisite, breathtaking captures and wonderful post for the day! I do so love the reflections on the water! Such a gorgeous place! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Wow, stunning.
ReplyDeleteKyoto, and Nara.
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese beauty seems to be condensed there.
It should be maintained forever...
My favorite reflection is in your second pic -beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful reflections in lovely photos--they are all exquisite, but the second one is my favorite. All of our ornamental fruit trees have blossomed, but it has been so windy here that the flowers did not last for very long. A shorter time than usual to enjoy their lovely blossoms. Have a pleasant weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Awesome shots. Perfect lighting and composition. I think the second shot is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe trees themselves are beautiful - their shape and gracefulness. With the fluttering blossoms, they are truly a spectacle. Your photos of the trees and surroundings are very special.
ReplyDeleteOh, terrific images. I really like the 2nd one. What a pretty park.
ReplyDeleteSuch a tranquil place to just sit and reflect on life! Beautiful reflection photos, especially the second one.
ReplyDeleteHi,Stardust.
ReplyDeleteYes,I can barely see a heron and turtles! The beautiful garden in Kyoto and Nara is always special any time. I have found that the view in photos taken under the morning light is very soft.
Have a good weekend!
This looks to be a heavenly place full of wonderment and ideal for meditation. The light casts magical reflections and a soft glow on the entire scene. I would think the turtle was a stone unless it moved to ruffle my thoughts. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a gorgeous place and such lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm really impressed!
Have a nice weekend:)
