Wonderful display of nature. Thank you for sharing such beauty.
ReplyDeleteGood wednesday.
a hug.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful and add color and joy in life. Butterflies too, of course. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteWhat an impossible task you set Yoko - all are exquisitely photographed, but if I have to chose just one it would be the Eryngium
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is : Spotlight on small starry-petaled fertile flowers...but they are all really beautiful !!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day !
Anna

ReplyDeleteWonderful. Pictures like a poem! Also in your older posts!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and all my best from Austria
Elisabeth
They are all so pretty! You've caught the personality and mood of each flower so well!
ReplyDeleteThe entire collection is like one tapestry and makes it impossible to choose. However, the “flying flower” and “exchange of smiles” photos were all the more meaningful because of the insightful poetic prose you chose.

Dear Yoko, You were rich in blooms in the spring. Each photo is so subtle and beautiful. Did you use a macro lens for these photos? A tripod? They are truly amazing. Gorgeous work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Barb. I don’t have a macro lens. These are all close-ups and are all taken hand-held.
DeleteHm, which one do I love most? Each one has its own beauty and wonderful shape, color and texture of course. Most dear to me are the bell flowers and the poppies. My heart always goes out to wild flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe bloom of the passifloras (passionflowers) is gorgeous. I enjoy them on our garden fence and wait longingly for the tasty fruit.
Have a happy summer Yoko. :-)
Always so beautiful! My favorite in this group is that very first one - the exchange of smiles. What a delight. But your photos are ever delightful! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSUCH exquisite portraits of spring flowers as they lean towards summer.
ReplyDeletethank you for sharing them with us!
Your flower photos are so wonderful and I love your captions. A favorite? Too difficult, but I do love the feverfew.

ReplyDeleteGreetings, Yoko! Thank you for your comments. And thanks for checking out my book. It contains about 100 poems - lots of variety, and the lyrics to 27 songs. If you were to buy the book, let me know and I'll send you music for a couple of the songs.
ReplyDeleteHope that you are enjoying the summer. It's very hot here, but that's to be expected. It is Florida! :)
Beautiful!
