Music DVD "Heima" by Sigur Ros

Do you know Icelandic band Sigur Ros? Their sound is ethereal. I imagine auroras would sing like that if they had sound. Icelandic culture has been Americanized, but Sigur Ros stays close to their original culture.

"Heima" means both "homeland" and "at home." Heima is the filmed record of Sigur Ros' concerts around their homeland in various locations including deserted fishing village, small country community hall, and so on. 99 percent of Sigur Ros' fans don't know what Iceland is like, so this is the chance to see.

  1. I like the sound of the beginning and the end of this song. Especially the last scene that ices run and knock each other suit this sound.

  2. This transparent and melancholy sound reminds me of the sound of movie“Dancer in the dark” I saw long time ago. It sounds natural tone in prayers.

  3. Mystic,visionary,awe-inspiring, isolated scenery and music. But people coming to the concert look friendly and happy.
